Your content is stable and only changes now and then. A static website is the simplest solution: fast and maintenance-free. No database, no plugins, no login – the typical entry points of WordPress are gone. I make changes when needed.

If these are not installed promptly, known vulnerabilities stay open and are often exploited automatically. Consequences range from injected malware and spam to data loss and downtime. Anyone using WordPress should therefore plan for maintenance. If you rarely change your content, a static website avoids this risk altogether.

Who pays for hosting and domain?
You do. You book domain and web space directly with the provider, so both belong to you. Upload, domain connection and SSL certificate are included in every package.
Which hosting provider do you recommend?
ALL-INKL.COM, “Privat” plan for €4.95 a month, first 3 months free. It includes 3 domains, 50 GB storage, a mail server with up to 500 email addresses and unlimited traffic. For €0.95 a month you add SSL certificates for any number of domains and subdomains via Let’s Encrypt, which other providers often charge a lot for. That is enough for HTML and WordPress websites alike, and I know the provider from many client projects. You will find the link above in the section “My hosting recommendation” (partner link).
What does a later change cost?
Later changes such as new texts, images or extensions are billed by effort. You receive a quote in advance and know what it will cost. You do not need a maintenance contract for this.
Do I really need no maintenance?
A static website has no database, no plugins and no content management system that needs regular updates. So the usual maintenance is not needed. Your hosting provider takes care of server and SSL certificate. If something changes later, such as your opening hours or legal requirements, I adapt the site by effort.
What does WordPress maintenance cost?
With the maintenance plan for €39 a month I take care of updates, security and backups of your WordPress website. Without a plan, updates and security are your responsibility after acceptance.
Why is a lean website more secure?
It has no database, no plugins and no admin login. That removes the most common points of attack. Your hosting and email accounts should still be well protected, for example with strong passwords and two-factor login.
Can I switch to WordPress later?
Yes. Design and content can be carried over if you want to edit your site yourself later or need features that external tools cannot cover. I quote the effort in advance as a fixed price.
What do I need to provide?
You provide texts, images and your logo, plus colours, typefaces, imprint and privacy policy, if available. On request I am happy to create missing texts and images for you. My website questionnaire helps you not to forget anything. If you do not have a brand identity yet, I offer simple brand basics or a more comprehensive logo design with stationery.
How long does it take?
Once all content is available: about 5 working days for a one-pager and about 10 working days for a small website. Premium projects with a custom layout take about 3 to 4 weeks.
Who writes the imprint and privacy policy?
On request, I provide a draft privacy policy tailored to the technology of your website. I cannot take responsibility for its legal compliance. Ideally, use a reputable generator for imprint and privacy policy or have the texts reviewed by your lawyer. I only embed external services such as maps or videos after agreement, so that your privacy policy matches.
