A five-year interim engagement for a B2B SaaS platform for strategy and performance management. Full product ownership across the entire development cycle, from launch to customer onboarding and live operation, at times as Interim Chief Product Owner.
Product Management & Product Ownership
- Full product ownership: roadmap, release planning and stakeholder management in a product team of 20
- Led the international development team of backend and frontend developers
- Backlog, sprint planning and resource coordination with the team leads
- Introduced Scrum with regular retrospectives and reviews
- Interim Chief Product Owner for a period, leading product management
Results
- Grew the platform to €1.2 million gross B2B revenue in three years, responsible for an annual product budget of €1 million
- Won more than 15 enterprise customers and took the first major customer live on the MVP within three months
UI/UX
- Delivered the entire UI/UX in-house during the first two years
- Moved the team from Adobe Creative Cloud to Figma and built a UI/UX team with a unified design system
Quality & Support
- Built a QA test centre from scratch, developed test processes and test matrices, and drove the introduction of automated end-to-end tests
- Established L1 and L2 support with clear processes, documentation and customer manuals
Customers & Implementation
- Lead account manager and implementation consultant for enterprise customers in media, industry, logistics and insurance
- Requirements management, software configuration, onboarding of customer product management offices and training for OKR expert teams
Team
- Involved in recruiting, selection and onboarding; trained further product managers
